The Bandit is an aggressive spooned canoe paddle for technical river runners and slalom canoeists. Performance and reliability are the goal for our white water canoe paddles. Premium Performance uses material choice and manufacturing skill to allow for a perfect combination of light swing weight and stiffness with our Bomber reliability. Fiberglass blade construction gives you a compromise between swing weight and value.

Great Paddle, Bad t-grip

"Werner's Bandit is one of the more dependable paddles on the market. It has a breezy and efficient swing weight and reliably strong blade and shaft. Out of the more than dozen canoe paddles I have used in a decade of consistent whitewater paddling, the Bandit is the paddle I keep coming back to (and the carbon layup for rocky/ class IV-V runs). All that being said, I have noticed the Werner t-grips get consistently smaller and cheaper over recent iterations. I wish they would make a solid, strong, straight t-grip so I didn't have to make my own."
